Preparation of Abstracts

A one page (A4 size or US letter size) abstract is due by June 30, 2013 for both oral and poster presentations. All abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee and selected speakers will be notified by July 16, 2013.

The abstract should be written on one-page with margins of 3 cm (top and bottom), 2.5 cm (right and left). Any color figures will be printed as black-and-white, and it cannot be guaranteed that halftone (grayscale) images will print as expected. It is recommended that you use figures with high contrast.

How to Submit Your Abstract

When your abstract is completed and ready to be sent, please visit the REGISTRATION page and make on-line registration with your abstract.

Cheiron School Students:
Please submit your abstract to Cheiron School secretariat by email.

Oral Presentation

Available Equipments for Presentation:
・PC projector with VGA connector, laser pointer and a microphone
・Windows 7 PC with PowerPoint 2010 and Acrobat X
・Mac OS X PC with PowerPoint 2008, KeyNote '09 and Acrobat X

However, we recommend that you bring your own PC to avoid any incompatibilities.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your presentation will project correctly. Please ensure that your talk is set-up on the conference computer or that your laptop computer is attached and working properly before the start of the session you will speak in.

Poster Presentation

Size of poster board : 90cm (width) x 150cm (height)
Poster presentations will be held at 12:30-16:00, Sept. 22nd at the B1 Exhibition Hall.
Poster display boards are available from 10:00 am, Sept. 22nd.
Materials for attaching posters to the display boards will be provided.

Please include a full-face photograph in the top right corner of your poster.
